If you've ever found yourself counting school days on a calendar trying to figure out an IEP deadline, this is for you.

The New IEP Referral Checklist + Auto Dates was created to help special education teachers and case managers keep the entire initial referral process organized — from the first referral through eligibility, the initial IEP, and the start of services.

Enter your important dates at the top of the checklist and the spreadsheet automatically calculates the deadlines you need to watch.

It automatically calculates:

• 45-school-day evaluation/eligibility deadline

• 30-calendar-day initial IEP deadline

• Next annual IEP due date

• Next reevaluation due date

You can also enter your district's holidays, school breaks, teacher work days, and other non-school days, so those dates are excluded from the 45-school-day calculation. Weekends are excluded automatically.
